Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Food Truck OS, a product of Dr. Hines Inc. ("Stronghold," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Food Truck OS provides food truck owners with a website, online ordering, menu and inventory tools, marketing tools, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
• You're responsible for the content you publish (menus, photos, descriptions) and for having the rights to it.

Free trial & billing

• Paid plans start with a free 14-day trial and require no card to begin. After the trial, continued use requires an active paid plan.
• Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change with advance notice.

Payments to you from your customers

When your customers pay by card, payment is processed through your own Stripe or Square account — you are the merchant of record for those sales. We are not a party to those transactions and do not hold your customers' funds. You are responsible for your own tax collection, refunds, and chargebacks on those sales.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the service for anything unlawful, misleading, or infringing.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, probe, or abuse the service or other users.
• Don't send email through the platform to people who haven't opted in, or in violation of anti-spam laws.

Our content & yours

We own the platform and its software. You keep ownership of your content, and you grant us the limited license needed to host and display it as part of providing the service.

Your data: ownership, export & deletion

• You own your business data. Your menu, customers, orders, expenses, budgets, locations, events, and inventory belong to you, not to us.
• Export anytime, self-serve. You can download a complete copy of your data in a standard format (JSON) from your dashboard at any time — Settings → "Export everything." Sales and tax reports also export as CSV. No request or waiting period needed.
• Deletion after you leave. If you close your account, we will delete your tenant data within 30 days of your request, except for records we're legally required to keep (such as tax and payment records). Email us to request deletion.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to the service or others.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Hines Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
